I’d always drawn as a kid, but I didn’t begin to sit down and seriously create until 8th grade when I was gifted my first sketchbook. At the time, I was obsessed with a youtuber named Aphmau and her Minecraft roleplays, which is what fueled my art for the longest time. I’d like to bury the first couple of sketchbooks I ever filled, but I also feel like it’s important to keep not only for memories but to display progress and show my starting point. It’s not the best work, but it’s where I started out from.
